Pupper Warp  - A Better Example
(Photoshop)

I was waiting for my niece to get the OK to write up this post. Carly and her Husband Rob were on a jet bound to Vancouver with their dog Bowie. She's just taken a new job and was moving from Calgary.  I was writing to ask if it was OK to use the photo, and if Bowie was in fact a legit "passenger". All was OK, and I just received the go ahead.

That's Rob's hand going into Bowie's Carry On
My sister actually sent me the photo. She though the book onthe left looked like an animal!

As you can see, the boot is a boot!

I selected and copied a part of the top of the zipper

I then added some "push pins" (the points used for the puppet warp)

Then I pulled down from the middle lower anchor point.
The bend curved nicely, and it was just a matter og getting the bend to bend "believably".

The first thing that I did was removed Rob's hand.
I did that by simply using the rubber stamp to fill the interior of the bag next to Bowie, as well as cover the hand.

I then decided to eliminate Bowie's "red eye", by replacing it with her left eye.

I did that by copying what I had to work with of her left eye.
I then made a copy of that and revered it to form a whole eye.
I then layered the 2 layers, and now had a right eye for the image.

Here's the final image.

What's "funny" was the fact that I could never figure out what I'd use the puppet warp for, and "viola", I was given a great photo to work with. I think this function would be great for fashion. Two immediate examples would be  clothing with creases that need better bends to them, and hair that needs to be repositioned. Even an eyebrow could be warped to present a different expression to the viewer.

So Rob, Carly, and Bowie and now settled in Vancouver.  Bowie travelled well on the plane, and both Carly and Rob and looking forward to a warmer climate and new jobs in British Colombia, the province of Vancouver.

Thanks for dropping by,

anbd have a great part of the day or night,
wherever you may be.
